Please use the written directions listed below when you visit the ASGD Office or the Audubon Center.

DO NOT use Mapquest, Google Earth, or GPS.

 

Office Hours

Monday – Thursday,  9am – 2pm

PLEASE NOTE:  Our office and the Audubon Center are in TWO DIFFERENT LOCATIONS. Check to make sure you have the correct driving directions before hitting the road!

 

Directions to the ASGD office:
The office is located at the northwest end of Chatfield State Park in Littleton, CO

  1. From I-25 & C-470, go west on C-470 about 12 miles
  2. Exit onto Wadsworth Blvd and go south
  3. At the first intersection, turn left /east on Deer Creek Canyon Road (you will be driving towards the Army Corps of Engineers Visitor Center)
  4. At the Corps of Engineers Visitor Center parking lot, bear left on the service road
  5. ASGD offices are in the basement of the second brick house on the right

 

Directions to the ASGD office on weekdays after 4:00 p.m. & on weekends:

  1. From I-25 & C-470, go west on C-470 about 12 miles
  2. Exit onto Wadsworth Blvd and go south
  3. At the second intersection, turn left /east into the main entrance for Chatfield State Park
  4. At the gate, tell the attendant that you are going to the Audubon office
  5. Proceed past the gate to the stop sign (you will be facing the reservoir)
  6. Turn left and drive about one mile
  7. Just after Massey Draw Picnic Area (on your right), turn left onto the service road and drive through the orange gates
  8. At the next intersection, turn right
  9. ASGD offices are in the basement of the second brick house on the right

 

Directions to the Audubon Nature Center:
The Audubon Center at Chatfield is located on the southwest end Chatfield State Park in Littleton, CO

  1. From I-25 & C-470, go west on C-470 about 12 miles
  2. Exit onto Wadsworth Blvd
  3. Go south on Wadsworth Blvd about 4.4 miles, PAST the main entrance for Chatfield State Park
  4. Turn left /east on Waterton Road
  5. Immediately turn left into the first parking lot at the Audubon Center sign
