Seasonally Every Year in April & May

Yellow Warbler in Hand by ASGD Volunteer Paul Petzke

Visitors watch research in action and see warblers, sparrows, woodpeckers, thrushes, and other songbirds up close at the bird banding research station in partnership with Bird Conservancy of the Rockies (www.birdconservancy.org).  Bird banding allows us the rare opportunity to learn about the behavior and health of wild song birds.  The Audubon Nature Center will be open Saturdays & Sundays, 7:30am-10:30am to greet registered participants and guide them to the station. Easy to moderate walking required on flat trails.

Registration is REQUIRED FOR THIS PROGRAM.  Local Audubon Society and Bird Conservancy of the Rockies members get priority selection of dates.
