Pick up your seed at the Audubon Center at Chatfield on Saturday, June 21, 2008, from 9am - 4pm. If you can’t get your seed on pick-up day, you will be charged a $5 handling charge. After the scheduled pick up day seed can be obtained during regular office hours. Remember, the mice may help themselves to your seed if you don’t pick it up right away!

Seed Offerings
Supreme Mix (formerly Countryside): A nutritious blend with no “filler” seeds, sure to attract a wide variety of birds to your feeder. This mix contains white and red proso millets, small sunflower, chopped corn, safflower.
Perfect Patio (formerly Tidy Gardener): A blend of seeds combining bird attractiveness with a minimum of seed germination in lawns and gardens. Contains medium sunflower chips, hulled millet, peanut pieces, nyjer.
Patio Panhandler (formerly Patio Party): No seed hull mess. Pure food, no shell, no waste. Contains medium sunflower chips, peanut pickouts, nyjer.
Black Oil Sunflower: Attracts the widest variety of seed-eating birds. Use in any type of elevated feeder.
Medium Sunflower Chips: Sunflower meats with the shell removed. The cleanest seed offering available. No hulls, no mess, and no sprouting. Loved by finches.
White Proso Millet: Most attractive to ground-feeding birds like sparrows, juncos, doves, and towhees.
Fabulous Finch (formerly Super Finch): Contains fine sunflower chips & nyjer. Will feed through the small holes of a thistle feeder for finch feeding.
Safflower: A great offering for House Finches and Mourning Doves. Not liked by squirrels or aggressive bird species such as starlings and grackles.
Peanuts in the Shell: If you enjoy watching the squirrels' antics, peanuts will certainly do the trick! Will also attract jays and woodpeckers.
Nyjer Seed: Oil-rich thistle seed craved by goldfinches and siskins.
High Energy Suet (12 cakes per case): Attracts insect-eating birds such as, chickadees, woodpeckers and nuthatches.
