Program participants will watch research in action and see warblers, sparrows, woodpeckers, thrushes, and other songbirds up close at the Bird Conservancy of the Rockies bird banding research station. Due to the health and welfare of the birds, the station is NO LONGER OPEN TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC, unless visitors pre-register through the ASGD website (www.denveraudubon.org). The Audubon Nature Center and gift shop will be open to all visitors from 7:30 am to 11:30 am. A private group may (subject to availability) book a personal visit to the banding station Wednesday to Friday from 7:30 am to 8:30 am by sending inquiries to firstname.lastname@example.org. Easy to moderate walking required on flat trails.
