Travel with a small group on a road trip around Jefferson County to see many of our front range eagles, owls, hawks, and falcons with their young families on the nest. We will observe birds of prey from Golden Eagles to Borrowing Owls as they nurture and mentor their young families. There will be great photo-ops during short stops, but the trip is not suitable for extended photographic studies. There is very little walking required and carpooling from the meeting point is necessary – three car maximum for safety reasons. Participants are required to stay with the group for the duration of the trip (no early departures). We take a brief stop for lunch at a Safeway deli. Trip limit: 10 each day.
