88th and the Platte River

April 7 @ 8:30 am - 11:30 am

This beautiful walk along the Platte River in Thornton allows fairly close views of ducks and geese in the water, and often we see raptors there as well as songbirds.  There is a wide paved trail we will walk along.  This area sometimes has Barrow’s Goldeneyes, so we will keep a look out for them.

Meeting Place:  Parking lot at 88th and Colorado Blvd.  This is between I-76 and I-25 at 88th

Leader:  Expert Birder Jackie King

Registration required.  No fee.  Donations to ASGD appreciated.
