Birding Insights Workshop – “Hawks: Thermal Riders of the Sky”

Learn how to identify Colorado’s hawks, including Buteos, Falcons, Accipiters, and Eagles. Many of these ID characteristics do not occur in bird field guides. This is also a great opportunity to learn about Raptor Natural History. This class will prepare you for identifying hawks in the field this winter. Important hawk migration areas and favorable Colorado hawk locations will be discussed.

Meeting Place: Audubon Nature Center, 11280 Waterton Rd., Littleton, CO, 

Instructor: Tina Jones, Audubon Master Birder and longtime teacher of Colorado Natural History classes

$20 for ASGD, $25 for non-members

Class Size: 20 students.
