Wilderness First Aid Certification for Birders (day 2)

Saturday, March 16, and Sunday, March 17 th , 8 am – 5 pm Each Day The University of Colorado School of Medicine, along with Denver Audubon, are offering the first ever Birding Wilderness First Aid class and certification! This unique offering will prepare birders and natural history enthusiasts for medical emergencies around the world, in the region, and in our backyards. No experience needed, but much gained! Learn to splint, stop bleeding, clean wounds, treat for cold or heat illnesses, deal with bites and stings, and much more. Earn a certificate in Wilderness First Aid as you learn principles and prevention, practice hands-on skills, and gain confidence with real-world scenarios.
