Share your love of nature & birds by supporting our bird banding programs!

Volunteers lead a 10-15 minute nature walk as they guide groups from the Nature Center to the banding station.  Volunteers stay with the group for the ornithologist presentation.

Our spring season for bird banding this year has ended. We will need volunteers for this program Spring 2026. Meanwhile, there are many other ways to help!

Volunteer Dates & Times: Tuesday – Friday, 6:45-8:30am. Saturdays & Sundays, 7 – 11am.

Time Commitment: Volunteer a minimum of three times during the season and attend a training session.
