Vote NO on Amendment 83

Colorado voters will consider Amendment 83 this November. Denver Audubon opposes the amendment because we believe decisions about wildlife management should remain grounded in science, professional wildlife management, and established public processes.

Protect Wetlands & Streams

Wetlands and waterways provide essential habitat for birds. EPA and the Army Corps are currently accepting comments on additional alternatives they are considering as they revise the definition of “Waters of the United States” under the Clean Water Act. The federal comment period closes Friday, October 9.

PASSED! HB 26-1132 works to help pollinators by encouraging certain state agencies to prioritize the use of native plants when planning and executing projects.

EXTENDED! HB 26-1230 Extends the tax credit provided to landowners who donate conservation easements protecting wildlife habitat.
