Our mission is to inspire actions that protect birds, other wildlife, and their habitats, through education, conservation, and research. We accomplish this with the help of our dedicated volunteers.
Whether you are looking to garden, be an ambassador at community events, lead a field trip, assist with school programs, or provide talks to the public, the Denver Audubon would love to have you as a part of our team!

Requirements
All new Denver Audubon volunteers are required to complete the following:
- Submit an application
- Follow-up interview with our Volunteer Coordinator
- If working in our youth programs, complete and pass a criminal background check (fee covered by Denver Audubon)
- Attend mandatory volunteer orientation and training on how to use our volunteer portal
- Additional training in area of interests
