Our organizational mission is to “inspire actions that protect birds, other wildlife, and their habitats, through education, conservation, and research". We accomplish this with the help of our dedicated volunteers.
Whether you are looking to garden, represent us at community events, assist with school programs, or give a helping hand with
administrative work, the Denver Audubon would love to have you as a part of our team!

Requirements
MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT: 18 years and older
All new Denver Audubon volunteers are required to complete the following:
- Submit an application
- Follow-up interview with our Volunteer Coordinator
- Complete and pass a criminal background check (fee covered by Denver Audubon)
- Attend mandatory volunteer orientation with an assigned volunteer mentor, and training on how to use our volunteer portal
- Additional training in area of interests
