Become a face of Denver Audubon! As an Ambassador, you’ll engage with the community to share our mission and inspire others to protect birds, wildlife, and their habitats. We have two ways for you to get involved:


At the Kingery Nature Center: Help us maintain a vibrant presence at our home campus! You’ll greet weekend trail users and program participants, providing information on local wildlife and upcoming events. This role is vital for fostering a welcoming environment and encouraging stewardship of the Nature Center grounds.


  • When:
  • April – October: Saturday & Sunday, 8:00 am – 12:00 pm
  • October – April: Saturday & Sunday, 9:00 am – 1:00 pm
  • 2-hour and 4-hour shifts are available.


  • Where: The Kingery Nature Center


In the Community: Represent Denver Audubon at various community venues and outreach events. This is a great role for those who enjoy meeting new people and sharing our conservation work across the metro area.


  • When: Various times throughout the year


Volunteer Requirements: A friendly, welcoming attitude and a passion for our mission. We’ll provide you with all the information you need to feel confident chatting with the public! Training required and provided.
