Volunteers who are interested in helping youth connect with nature in a hands-on and memorable way are invited to support our bird banding seasons!

During school field trips to the Kingery Nature Center, students learn about bird banding, nest building, and explore the Muskrat Pond. Volunteers assist by helping lead the Pond Exploration Station, an engaging and interactive part of the Bird Banding Program.

This station is always a favorite with students, and as a volunteer, you’ll play an important role in creating a fun and meaningful experience for them.
