Inspire the Next Generation of Naturalists! Every spring and summer, the Kingery Nature Center buzzes with the energy of school field trips. From the wonder of bird banding to the curiosity of pond exploration, these students are here to discover the wild world around them, and they need you!


Whether you’re guiding the student-favorite Pond Exploration Station or helping small hands master the art of Nest Building, you’ll be the spark that makes nature come alive. Join us in making these outdoor experiences truly memorable for students from 1st grade through high school.


When: April through July & October. Weekday shifts from 8am or 9am to 1pm. 


Where: Kingery Nature Center.


Volunteer Requirements:

  • Bring your enthusiasm for nature and a passion for working with youth!
  • Volunteers must pass a background check and attend an in-person training or shadowing session during the season.
