Special Events

Volunteers play a vital role in many of our special events throughout the year, which are large, community-focused gatherings held at the Kingery Nature Center.

From Flocktober Fest in October to Wings & Wonder in December, there are plenty of ways to get involved. Whether you’re leading a field trip, helping at our education tables, capturing memories as our event photographer, or lending a hand with setup and tear-down, your time and support make a real difference.
