Karli Rose (she/her) is serving as an Environmental Educator with Denver Audubon. As a lifelong learner, she is driven by the idea that the natural world will always have something new to teach us. With a background surveying for endangered frog species in the Sierra Nevada and Southern Illinois as well as educating at Butterfly Pavilion, her special interests span from beetles and herps to lichens—and, of course, birds! She strives to ignite curiosity and wonder in those around her while continually nurturing these same qualities in herself.
She believes personalized, approachable, and resonant science communication is pivotal in inspiring individuals to form deep connections with the landscapes and organisms around them. Karli is delighted to serve as a bridge between people and their relationship with the natural world through exploration and discovery—and to invite folks to see themselves as key players in the story of the Earth.
