Kit Phillips

AmeriCorps Environmental Educator

Kit fell in love with youth education through volunteering with Denver Audubon’s school programs. They have experience teaching the Pond Exploration Station and supporting homeschool classes at Denver Audubon, as well as aiding early elementary after-school programs. Holding a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife, Fish, and Conservation Biology from UC Davis, Kit loves the natural world and sharing it with others, especially kids. They find joy in helping children use hands-on experience and play to develop their sense of self, understanding of the world, and their place in the environment and community. In their free time they enjoy birdwatching, drawing, and cross stitching.
